Implemented organisation development and communications strategies in support of agreed business plans. Acted as ambassador for the organisation locally, regionally and nationally by implementing proactive media strategy; leading partnership bodies; taking key roles in professional association.
Strategic partnerships - conceptualising the big picture of how whole systems operate.
Implemented integrated commissioning and delivery of health and social care services for adults with learning disabilities. Led the development of a multi-agency strategic partnership to modernise services
for children and families. Implemented commissioning arrangements for £40 million worth of business with independent care providers to create single pricing structure, workforce strategy and training programme. Managed the Council's relationships with six local NHS trusts to create a single strategic framework to deliver local and national objectives.

Designed and implemented a person-centred service to meet the health and social care needs of 1500 adults with learning disabilities. Created a new charitable trust to secure the expansion and improvement of adult placement services. Delivered sustained improvements in regulated services for children (adoption, family placements and residential care) through investment in leadership, training and buildings.

Designed and implemented performance agreements to ensure achievement of local and national targets. Commissioned and implemented modern electronic information system to ensure accurate, timely collection and reporting of performance information.
